Four tonnes of illegally dumped waste has been removed from a site close to Castlerea.
In a statement issued on social media, Roscommon County Council confirmed that the significant volume of rubbish was collected during the clearance at Beagh.
The materials removed included general household waste, children's toys, and bulky items such as a television and a fridge door.
Council officials described the dumping as unacceptable and urged residents to take responsibility for their waste disposal practices.
