A local businessman says the government must support poultry farmers affected by the current bird flu outbreak.
It comes as a National Housing Order came into effect today following last month's outbreak at Fota Wildlife Park.
There have also been outbreaks among turkey flocks in Carlow and Meath recently.

Derek Allen of Castlemine Farm Shop rears turkeys in Roscommon and says the order has also put extra pressure on his business.
