Tributes continue to be paid to former Roscommon footballer Don Connellan who passed away yesterday. The Kilmore native won a Connacht Senior Football Championship title with Roscommon in 2001. He was also a successful manager at club level, guiding Moycullen to two Galway Senior Football Championship titles along with winning the Connacht Club Championship in 2022.
Moycullen have paid tribute this afternoon saying "he had the skillset to navigate whatever came his way in his own quiet manner." Former Roscommon goalkeeper Derek Thompson played with Don for the county team - he's also been paying tribute:
