Limited visiting allowed at Portiuncula Hospital this afternoon

Visiting restrictions have been announced for  Portiuncula University Hospital in Ballinasloe.

This measure will take effect immediately and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis over the next seven days.

It aims to protect the public and reduce the high level of COVID-19 and flu on St John’s Ward.

Anyone who wishes to visit the hospital will only be admitted by calling in advance and visits  are facilitated on compassionate grounds.
