Leitrim woman waits six hours in an ambulance outside Sligo hospital

A south Leitrim woman had to wait in an ambulance outside Sligo University Hospital for six hours recently.

Sinn Féin TD Martin Kenny told the Dáil it was due to significant overcrowding at the hospital.

He was speaking during a debate about health insurance yesterday.
