Leitrim set for heavy rain and strong winds as yellow warnings issued

A yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.

It comes into effect at 9 o'clock tonight and runs until 9 tomorrow night.

Met Éireann is warning of spot flooding and difficult travelling conditions.

Meanwhile a wind warning for Clare, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo begins at 6 o'clock tomorrow morning, with Wicklow coming under the same warning from 10am.
