Leitrim set for biggest increase in property prices over next 5 years

Leitrim will have the biggest increase in property prices in the country over the next five years.

According to shipping company Irish Parcels, the average price of a home in the county will be almost 229,000 euro in 2030.

The current average is 156,000 - meaning the increase would be 47 per cent.

Leitrim auctioneer Gordon Hughes says the figures seem realistic.
