Leitrim man celebrates one year smoke-free on World No Tobacco Day

Today marks World No Tobacco Day and a Leitrim man is celebrating more than a year smoke-free.
Stephen Donegan attended the HSE Stop Smoking Clinic for the first time at Ballinamore Primary Care Centre in March last year.

At the time, Stephen was smoking up to 20 cigarettes a day.
Working with his HSE Stop Smoking Advisor, Stephen managed to significantly reduce his carbon monoxide readings within days of quitting and noticed the positive impact it had on his physical and mental health.
