Leitrim Gardaí are appealing for information following the theft of a significant amount of industrial equipment in the county. A site in Druminishingore near Newtowngore was illegally accessed sometime between the 16th and the 19th of May. The perpetrators accessed a garage and attached container, removing a number of items.
These included a large industrial generator, heavy duty cable, several drums of kerosene and rolls of lead. Garda John Morgan from the Leitrim Community Policing Unit is urging the public to contact Gardaí if they are offered similar items for sale:
