County Leitrim is among the areas facing the longest recovery from the devastation caused by Storm Éowyn.
Earlier this week, Coillte confirmed forest clean-up operations will continue until at least mid-2027
The storm which occurred just under a year ago saw record wind speeds and unprecedented damage to the country's forestry sector.

According to Coillte, only about 20 per cent of the total windblown area has been cleared so far.
