Dog owners in Leitrim are being warned to keep their pets under proper control.
A dog warden in the county says the amount of call outs they have been getting about dogs in fields worrying livestock is concerning.
Larry O' Connor says while dog wardens will sometimes give people a chance, they intend to take a tougher attitude to clamp down on incidents being reported.
