Leitrim defibrillator group urge public to take part in life saving training

The meeting takes place this evening.

A Leitrim CPR and defibrillator group is urging the public to take part in its life saving training.

Michael O'Dell from the Ballinamore Heartsafe group says the majority of cardiac arrests happen outside of hospital and it's important people in the community are trained to assist.

A meeting will take place at Prior's Bar on High Street at 8pm this evening and all are welcome to sign up for the course which will begin shortly.
