A Leitrim councillor is calling for new Wind Energy Guidelines to be published.
Councillor Gary Prior says he wants Leitrim County Council to stop any planning applications for wind farms until the guidelines are released.
Councillor Prior says renewable energy is the way forward.

But he does believe new guidelines must include clear community benefits.
