Managers in special schools are underpaid and burnt out, according to a Leitrim councillor.
Sinn Féin's Cormac Flynn says senior management teams in these schools are responsible for up to 90 people.
He says they're only paid a normal teacher's salary and an allowance of around 14,000 euro.
He wants Leitrim County Council to write to relevant government ministers to ask them to up their pay.
