A teenage boy has been killed in road crash involving a tractor in Co. Leitrim. The 18 year old was pronounced dead at the scene after the tractor he was a passenger in crashed near Carrigallen. A second teenager who was driving the tractor was hurt and taken to Cavan General Hospital.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. The road is still closed this morning and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses. Local Councillor Paddy O'Rourke says there's great sadness in the community today:
