Leitrim councillor calls for improvements in school meals - not chicken nuggets and chips

A Leitrim councillor is calling for reform of school meal standards - saying some children are receiving chicken nuggets and chips.

All primary schools are now eligible for free hot school meals, but not secondary schools.

Independent councillor James Gilmartin is concerned about the quality of some of them.
