Leitrim County Council is one of three local authorities taking part in a special initiative in Dublin early next month aimed at attracting people to live in the region.
The Leitrim authority, together with Sligo and Donegal will be in Dublin on February 9th at a marketing event titled 'Northwest in the City'.
The collaboration between the councils and key agencies like IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and the Western Development Commission is aimed at attracting career-driven professionals based in Dublin to consider moving for a better work life balance in the Northwest.
The councils and agencies have also teamed up with some of the biggest regional employers for the event.
The employers represent the Biopharma, MedTech, Advanced Manufacturing, Technology and International Financial Services sectors.
Leitrim Chief Executive Lar Power says the county and region offers a compelling case for professionals to build on their careers and choose a better location to live in.
