Leitrim County Council has agreed to hold a civic reception for Carrick-on-Shannon TidyTowns.
It's after they won the overall award in the SuperValu TidyTowns competition last month, for the first time.
Leitrim council cathaoirleach Paddy Farrell proposed a civic reception today, and it was agreed by members.

It was agreed a date would be set for the reception in due course.
