Leitrim Council has published a Part 8 public notice advising of works that are to be carried out on the Aghoo Recreational Trail.
The works will involve constructing a 390 meter cycle and pedestrian trail from Aghoo Bridge on the Ballinamore canal to Lock 4 at Aghoo.
The project is also set to include a new bridge underpass at Aghoo Bridge and a new unbound pathway.

Plans for the scheme are available for inspection at the council offices in Carrick on Shannon, or online, until Wednesday the 11th of next month.
Submissions or observations must be made in writing to the local authority before 4.00 pm on Wednesday November 25th.
