Leitrim County Council's special meeting to decide on their stance on the presidential election has been brought forward.
It will now take place next Wednesday, September 17th, at 11am.
It was scheduled for September 22nd, but has been brought forward for procedural reasons.

A total of 21 Independent candidates are looking for a nomination from the council - and several will make presentations to councillors next Wednesday.
They need four local authorities to back them to get on the ballot paper for October 24th.
