Thousands of households were left without power for days following Storm Amy earlier this month.

A Leitrim Councillor says there needs to be a joint-up approach to tackle future storms. Thousands of households were left without power for days following Storm Amy earlier this month.

Sinn Féin's Brendan Barry is bringing forward a motion to next weeks Ballinamore Municipal District meeting, seeking an update on works that have been carried out since Storm Éowyn in January. Cllr Barry says pressure needs to be put on the ESB to provide a better service for people in the area:
