Late Roscommon Councillor remembered at opening of new facilities

New slipways have been built at Frenchlawn in Ballintubber and Dundermott in Ballymoe.

The late councillor Anthony Waldron was remembered at the opening of new community facilities in west Roscommon yesterday. New slipways have been built at Frenchlawn in Ballintubber and Dundermott in Ballymoe.

They're designed to improve access to the Suck River. Senator Gareth Scahill is the secretary of the Suck Valley Way committee - he paid tribute to the work done by Anthony Waldron and the local community:
