Late councillor Anthony Waldron will be remembered at the opening of new community facilities in west Roscommon today.
New slipways have been built at Frenchlawn in Ballintubber and Dundermott in Ballymoe, where the official opening will take place at 12 noon.
They're designed to improve access to the Suck River.
Senator Gareth Scahill is the secretary of the Suck Valley Way committee - he says Anthony Waldron was a big part of the project before he died in February:
