Large power outage reported in Co. Longford this afternoon

The outage was reported at around 1.30pm with the ESB hoping to restore power by 5pm this evening.

Over 1,300 homes, farms and businesses north of Longford Town are without power this afternoon. The outage was reported at around 1.30pm with the ESB hoping to restore power by 5pm this evening.

The power outage is currently affecting areas between Drumlish and Longford Town.
