Jobs in climate, sustainability and agri-tech saw the biggest growth last year, according to Enterprise Ireland.
The sector saw a 13 per cent expansion, followed by the digital technology sector, which saw 9 per cent growth.
In August, the government launched a 65 million euro fund to drive innovation in the areas of green transition and digital transformation.
