Irish Rail has announced a new service on a busy line serving the Shannonside region.
The new departure on the Dublin to Galway line will run on Fridays only.
The train will depart Heuston Station at 9:40am, with stops in Athlone at 11:15 and Ballinasloe at 11:33.

The service will arrive in Galway City at 12:26pm.
This will bring the number of trains serving Galway from Dublin to 10 every Friday.
