Ireland likely to get another two-year nitrates derogation - Mullooly

It's due to expire at the end of this year, but the Irish government is pushing to have it extended.

A local MEP says he believes the EU will extend Ireland's nitrates derogation by two years.

It's due to expire at the end of this year, but the Irish government is pushing to have it extended.

Agriculture Minister Martin Heydon said yesterday he wants a much longer timeframe for the derogation this time.
