Investigations are continuing following an alleged incident in a west Roscommon town earlier this week. Gardaí received a report of an assault in Ballaghaderreen on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred at around 1 o'clock on Pound Street in the town.
No injuries were reported. Gardaí say enquiries are ongoing.
