An investigation has been launched after six dogs were seized in Sligo on Friday.
The joint-agency operation targeted people suspected of owning, using and breeding dangerous dogs.
The dogs - one German Shepard Malamute, four American Staffordshire Terriers and one mixed-breed dog - are receiving medical care with the ISPCA.

14 premises were searched as part of the operation involving Gardaí, Sligo County Council and the ISPCA.
