Hundreds of people are expected to attend a protest in Ballinasloe this afternoon against the downgrading of maternity services.
The HSE says no high-risk mothers can have their babies in Portiuncula University Hospital, in the long-term.
Local campaigners want the decision reversed - with the protest starting at the Fairgreen car park at 12 noon.
