The HSE has confirmed that the adult speech and language therapist position in co. Leitrim is yet to be filled.
The post, unfilled since the 2023 Pay and Numbers Strategy was introduced, has yet to be replaced despite efforts to secure agency cover.
Historically, agency staff have been employed to cover the post, however, they have been unable to provide anyone suitably qualified since December 2025.
