It remains to be seen whether or not there will be a primary care centre in Ballaghaderreen.
The HSE say they will be advertising for expressions of interest for a site in the coming weeks.
The project was first raised in the west Roscommon town 13 years ago.

It was due to proceed on an agreed site, but the developer pulled out at the last minute earlier this year.
