It's hoped that Upper Main Street in Mohill will reopen early next week.
The area has been closed off for over three weeks since masonry collapsed at the site of a former pub on September 8th.
Following a meeting with engineers from Leitrim County Council this morning, a decision has been taken to erect boarding at the site of the masonry collapse.
It's hoped that footpath on Main Street and road will open to traffic early next week.
