Hopes for greater support for local domestic services

Calls made locally have risen by 7.8 per cent since 2020.

Cases of domestic abuse will continue to persist as long as the housing crisis remains unresolved.

Figures obtained by local Sinn Féin TD Sorca Clarke reveal there's been a 51 per cent increase in the number of cases reported across Longford, Mayo and Roscommon last year.
