Those whose homes and properties have been damaged by the storm Éowyn are being warned that claiming through their insurance can take time. Seamus Gibbons runs a bike shop in Leitrim Village that was severely damaged in a freak tornado in December 2023. Speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Seamus says that the process in claiming insurance and receiving payouts is not a fast one. He's advising those affected by Storm Éowyn to hire a good assessor to make their claims:
