The price of a home in the Longford town region has increased by almost 14 per cent in the past year.
The average sale price went from €185,000 to €210,000, according to the CSO.
They rose by 11 per cent in south Leitrim, going from €188,000 to €209,000.

But they dropped slightly in the general Roscommon town area, going from €228,000 to €226,000.
