The Minister for Health says it is a great honour to be able to officially open Roscommon Hospice this afternoon.
Hundreds of thousands of euro in fundraising efforts will come to fruition this afternoon when Stephen Donnelly officially cuts the ribbon at the Athlone road site.
The project was completed earlier this year and has already been helloing families of cancer patients across the region.

US president Joe Biden is among those who have also been passing on the best wishes to the Mayo Roscommon hospice charity for their fundraising efforts to provide the state-of-the-art facility.
