Health Minister lays first brick on new €38m nursing home in Carrick
Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill laid the first brick on the new nursing home today

Jennifer Carroll MacNeill visited the site on the Leitrim Road this evening, to mark the start of construction.

The Health Minister has officially laid the first brick on the new 90-bed nursing home in Carrick-on-Shannon.

Jennifer Carroll MacNeill visited the site on the Leitrim Road this evening, to mark the start of construction.

It will replace St Patrick's Community Hospital in Summerhill in Carrick, which has 40 beds.
