A Green Party Election candidate says it will be an uphill battle to win a seat in Sligo-Leitrim. Blaithin Gallagher was recently selected to represent the party in the next General Election.
She ran in the local elections earlier this year receiving 122 first preference votes in the Manorhamilton Local Electoral Area. Despite the party not winning a seat on Leitrim County Council this year, Gallagher thinks people should look at the Greens record whilst in government:
