The Greville Arms in Granard has failed to meet its asking price at an online auction held earlier today.
The historic property, which was previously owned by the Kiernan family and was closely linked to many significant figures in the War of Independence and Civil War, including Michael Collins, had a guide price of €250,000.
However, the property failed to meet its reserve price, and it is now expected to be sold as part of a private treaty arrangement.
