Government's Mercusor u-turn under fire

The government's approach to the Mercusor agreement has come under fire on the floor of the Dáil.

It was decided late in the day to vote against the deal after it emerged Italy would support the deal.

Earlier today, the majority of MEPs voted for it be referred to the European Court of Justice in the European Parliament.
