The government has been called on to introduce a ban on rent increases.
Over 180 termination notices were issued by landlords in the Shannonside region in the first three months of the year.
That's according to the latest data from the Residential Tenancies Board.

69 took place in Roscommon, 65 in Longford and in Leitrim, there were 52.
