Government accused of 'dithering' as fuel prices rise

The Tanaiste Simon Harris says the state will take steps on Tuesday to reduce prices at the pumps due to rising fuel prices from the Middle East conflict.

The Government is being accused of taking too long to consider cutting excise duty on fuel by up to 25 per cent.

The Government is thinking about reducing excise duty for a month, ahead of the cabinet meeting.
