Gardaí have seized over €380,000 in cash following a search operation in Leitrim and Dublin. Gardaí say as part of Operation Tara, they intercepted two vehicles shortly before 8pm in North Dublin yesterday evening. Searches of four residential premises in North Dublin and Co. Leitrim also took place.
During the course of the operation, €383,000 in cash was recovered along with a money counter and a number of mobile phones. Two men and two women, all aged in their 30s, were arrested and are currently being detained at Garda stations in Dublin.
