Gardaí in Longford are currently investigating a robbery of a bookmakers on Sunday evening at approximately 6.45pm.
Two masked individuals entered the premises on Earl Street in Longford Town and made off with a sum of money.
It is being reported by the Irish Independent that staff in the shop were threatened with pepper spray during the raid.
