Gardai monitoring large public event on Dublin Road in Roscommon

Gardai are currently at the scene of a large gathering of people on the Dublin road in Roscommon town.

Members of the Armed Response Unit as well as officers from different regional response teams are currently involved in the monitoring of the gathering of a large crowd at St Coman’s cemetery.

Gardai have confirmed while they are currently attending at the cemetery but no incidents have occurred.

Traffic delays are also being reported in the area.
