Gardaí are investigating the unauthorised taking of a vehicle that occurred at a residence in Clonbalt, Longford town.
The car in question, an Audi A5, was seen leaving Maple Lawn shortly before 8:00pm on Saturday.
A technical examination of the scene has since been conducted by the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit.
Investigations are ongoing.
