Gardai in Longford are investigating after a car was damaged by fire last night.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident in a housing estate in Ballymahon just after 1am.
No injuries were reported and Gardai have confirmed they are currently investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire.

A forensic examination of the scene is currently being carried out and gardai are appealing for witnesses.
Separately, Gardai in north Longford are also investigating after a car was damaged by fire in Granard at around 4am.
