Gardaí investigating attempted break-in at a house in Co. Leitrim

Gardaí are investigating an attempted break-in at a house in Co. Leitrim in the early hours of this morning. They say the occupants of a jeep were disturbed by the owners of the property and left at speed in the direction of Dromod.

Gardaí are asking homeowners to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to Carrick on Shannon Garda Station.
