A man in his 60s is believed to have died violently in a house in Broomfield, Co. Monaghan.
He was discovered shortly after half six this morning and his body has been taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for a post-mortem examination.
Another man died after being struck by a car a short distance away.

Gardaí have identified both men and are following a strong line of enquiry into whether the two deaths are connected.
